
I wouldn’t exactly call this a releve, but it’s still super pretty!
This is actually a pretty textbook relevé (which means raised). Relevé starts from a plié and goes onto three-quarters or full pointe. Some schools teach that a relevé should be a continuous rising through the feet while other schools teach that there should be a slight spring which brings the foot right under you in one footed steps such as fouetté turns. The spring action method is very common during fouetté turns en pointe. And if you have a really high quality video focusing on the feet of a ballerina in slow mo, you can actually see the foot leave the floor a little bit such as in this gif here.
